About

Your hosts, Susan and Ira Fogel are Silicon Valley transplants that have lived in La Paz for eleven years. They live on the premises and minister to the demands of their Chihuahua, Coco-Nut Ibrahim Garcia.

Susan writes articles for various magazines and the Baja Citizen, the La Paz English language newspaper.
She also blogs about her life in La Paz and you can visit her BLOG .
Susan was a Realtor and mortgage broker in California, and still sells real estate in her neighborhood only, so if you fall in love while staying at the HoneyMoon Hut, Susan will be happy to help you find the house of your dreams. Or if you are interested in other parts of La Paz or Baja she can refer you to a trusted colleague.
Susan also designs accessories and home-dec items. She made all of the pillows in the HoneyMoon Hut.

Ira is a retired college professor and is also the science editor at the federal biological research agency, CIBNOR at the end of our beach.
He will be happy to give you a private tour of the facility including the Jacques Cousteau memorial.

Susan and Ira can tell you where to watch whales up close without riding in a crowded van for two hours then getting a crowded boat, and it is FREE!
You can have all the privacy you need, or all the interaction with your hosts as you want.
You set the tone.
